NOTICE REGARDING WATER SERVICE Lakeside MUD No. 3 has submitted an application to the Texas Public Utilities Commission to remove the land within the MUD from Manville WSC’s retail water service Certificate of Convenience and Necessity. The MUD, as the provider of retail water service to its residents, is processing this application in accordance with its wholesale water contract with Manville WSC. This is an administrative process that will not affect the MUD’s provision of water service to its residents or the rates that residents pay for such water service. The City of Pflugerville and the Lakeside M.U.D. #3 have instituted Stage 3 Water Restrictions begin August 19. Watering schedule changes to 1 day per week.
Mandatory once-a-week watering to begin August 19, 2013
The Board of Directors of Lakeside Municipal Utility District No. 3 has a vacant position on the Board due to a recent resignation. The term is through November, 2014. Directors must be at least 18 years old, a Texas resident, and either own property in the District or reside in the District. The Board requests interested residents to submit letters of interest to the Board. A letter should state the person’s reasons for wanting to serve on the Board and set forth a short summary of qualifications and background. Letters must be submitted in care of the Board’s law firm either by U.S. Mail or e-mail arriving not later than June 28, 2013.
